| Component | State | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Rendering engine | connected | The Chromium pool that produces every PDF and screenshot. Unavailable here means renders are failing. |
| Cache | on | The 24-hour render cache. Off costs speed and makes repeat renders billable; it is not an outage. |
| Billing | ready | Checkout, subscriptions and plan upgrades. Unconfigured means new purchases cannot complete. |
| API | responding | This page was rendered by the API process itself, so it answered at least one request just now. |
What this page is. It is generated by the service on every request from the same check that powers /health — the JSON endpoint your monitoring should poll. Reload for a fresh reading; nothing here is cached.
What this page is not. It is served by the very machine it reports on, so it cannot tell you the service is down — if the box is unreachable, this page is unreachable too, and that silence is the answer. There is no independent external monitor yet, and no incident history. Both are on the list. Until then: one server, one developer, and a page that will not lie to you about which.
