Terms of service

Last updated 13 August 2026. Plain words, and short enough to read.

The service

snapdok renders a publicly reachable URL to a PDF, PNG or JPEG through the API described in the documentation. It is offered as-is. There is no uptime guarantee and no SLA — it is a young service run by one developer, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. Live status is at /health.

Your account and key

Your API key authenticates every call and stands in for you: keep it server-side, out of client code and out of public repositories. If it leaks, rotate it from the dashboard, or get a fresh one through key recovery. Usage under your key is your responsibility.

Acceptable use

We can suspend a key that is doing one of the above, and we will say why.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Liability

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous three months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — plan for the API to be unavailable sometimes, because sometimes it will be.

Changes

If these terms or the prices change, the change applies from your next billing period, and we email the address on the account before it takes effect.
